Remove the barbell from the rack, lowering it towards your upper chest. Stay in this position for 2 to 3 seconds and push it back upwards to the initial position.
The bedroom bench may function as further storeroom for your clothes, bed sheets and pillows if there's not enough space within the wardrobe. In a different case, you may place on it all the clothes and things that are required for the next day.
Grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and lift it over you, so that your arms are fully extended. This is your start position.
Remember to lower the barbell in a slow and controlled motion. You can touch it to your chest, as it doesn't put pressure on your shoulders and targets the lower chest.
